In this policy the terms ‘me’ and ‘I’ means New Leadership Ltd.

If you provide me with any personal data, I may use it to provide you with any further information or services you have requested. I may also use it for any other purpose for which you give your consent.

What do I do with the information you supply to me?

I may ask you to provide personal information (e.g. name, address and other contact details) in order to receive or use my services.

Whenever you provide such information, I will treat it in accordance with this policy. When you supply personal information to me, I have legal obligations in the way I use such data. I must collect the information fairly and tell you if I want to pass it on to anyone else.

Any information you provide will only be used by me and my agents, service providers, supervisors and auditors. Your information will also be disclosed where required by law.

How I use the data you supply

The personal information collected about you will be treated confidentially and dealt with in accordance with this Privacy Policy and my Terms and Conditions. Any personal data you provide to me will be used to deal with any enquiry you make and for the provision of any services requested. I may also add your details to my database. I will not use your details to contact you with any information other than in relation to your enquiry and related services.

Email security

Please note that I cannot guarantee that any emails sent will be received or that the contents of any emails are or will remain secure during or following transmission. I advise my clients to ensure that access to their own email accounts is strictly controlled and that they have taken appropriate steps to maintain the security of all devices used to access or store personal information.

Who I am

I am a ‘data controller’ for the purposes of data protection legislation (i.e. I am responsible for and control the processing of your personal information). I am based in the United Kingdom and do not have equipment outside of the UK which is used for processing personal data.

What information do I collect?

If you submit an enquiry then I will hold any information you provide. I will use and keep this information so I can respond to your enquiry. If I agree to undertake coaching work, I will use the information you provide in order to do so. Once my contact with you has ended, I will only keep information that is necessary to comply with my legal requirements and for audit and supervision purposes.

Special categories of personal information

I may ask you to provide sensitive personal information in order to provide coaching. I will only request this type of personal information for the purposes of your coaching. I will not keep records of our dialogue during coaching sessions.

Special categories of personal information include information relating to:

  1. your ethnic origin and health
  2. your political opinions and whether you belong to a trade union
  3. your religious and philosophical beliefs
  4. your sexual activity and sexual orientation.

How will I use the information about you?

I use the information about you primarily for the provision of our agreed coaching and so that I can:

  1. identify you and manage my contract with you;
  2. update and enhance client records;
  3. process your requests;
  4. let you know about other products or services that may be of interest to you;
  5. comply with my legal and regulatory obligations;
  6. notify you of any changes to my services that may affect you; and
  7. improve my services.

I will usually delete WhatsApp messages and text messages within 48 hours of receipt. I do not record telephone or video conference conversations. Any information that I do hold about you will be stored for a maximum period of 6 years (from the end of our coaching relationship) and will then be securely destroyed.

Who your information might be shared with

Please note that my work for you is supervised by Victoria Settle, Head of Training and Supervision at The John Bowlby Centre and I may share information with her. She is bound by a duty of confidentiality. I may also give information to others who perform services for me. I may be audited or checked by my accountants or by other organisations. All such third parties are required to maintain confidentiality in relation to your information.

Examples of those to whom we may disclose your personal data are:

  1. my agents and service providers such as my IT providers
  2. law enforcement agencies in connection with any investigation to help prevent unlawful activity.

Keeping your data secure

I use technical and organisational measures to safeguard your personal data, for example:

  1. access to electronic data about you is controlled by a password and unique user name.
  2. I store your personal data on secure servers.

Transfer of your information out of the EEA

I do not normally transfer your personal information to anyone. However, I may need to transfer your personal data to countries, some of which may be located outside the European Economic Area, for the purpose of performing my contract with you or to make enquiries at your request. This will only be in connection with your coaching.

If you access or send me information from outside the United Kingdom, then this will be at your own risk.

What rights do you have?

Right to request a copy of your information - You have a right of access to the information that I hold about you. If you would like a copy, please email, call or write to me.

Right to correct any mistakes in your information - You can require me to correct any mistakes in your information which I hold.

Right to erasure ( " right to be forgotten " ) - You have the right to ask me to erase personal data without undue delay in certain circumstances. However, this does not apply if I am required to comply with a legal obligation or if the processing is necessary for dealing with legal claims.

Right to restrict processing - You have the right to block or suppress processing of personal data in certain circumstances. Please be aware that restricting your data in this way may mean that I will no longer be able to provide coaching to you. I am also able to continue to process personal data for dealing with legal claims.

Right to data portability - You have the right to ask me to transfer your information to another organisation in certain circumstances.

Right to object - You can object to me processing personal data for marketing purposes or where it is used in connection with my legitimate interests. You are not required to pay for exercising your rights. If you make a request, I have one month to respond to you. If you have a concern about the way your personal data has been handled please let me know so that I can help. In addition, you have the right to complain to the ICO.
